The purpose of this journal
The purpose of this area is so that I have somewhere to document my upcoming treatment for my cancer. I think it will help me deal with everything by writing it down somewhere.
For those of you that are interested in what I am going through then read on. Those of you that are not then just avoid this area and keep your comments to yourself. 
Some people may find it in poor taste that I refer to myself as Tumor Boy now and that we have named my tumor Bubba, but it makes things a little easier to deal with if we can laugh about the situation even just a little bit.
My Biopsy is tomorrow (5/22/2003) and after that the Lymphoma will have to be staged, but we do not even know if I have Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (HD) or Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) yet. I am hoping for HL because it responds better to treatment (so I am told) and the remission rates are extremely high (85-90%).
