So we went and saw Dr. Freidburg today (my ONC) and my CT Scans came back awesome! Everything is much smaller than it was at my last scan.
My PET Scan is another matter though. I have a “hotspot” in my chest area. It is small though. Although he said he is not worried you could still kind of see that it bothered him.
So we’re in “watch and wait” mode until my next set of scans. They think it is too small to biopsy and he said it could be any number of things (residual cold, pneumonia, etc, etc) …
What do I think of all this? I think it’s back, but the spot is too small to worry about right now and I think I may be too weak to get hit again with treatment. Especially if I have to get the more aggressive chemo.
So we will keep an eye on my health and live each day one day at a time.
Not really much else to say … I beat it before and I WILL beat it again if it comes back.
Edit: (03/17) I would just like to add how awesome my ONC is. I had a few more questions about the “hotspot” and he was nice enough to call me at work and answer them. I am even less worried about it now. Thanks! ![]()
