Bone Marrow Biopsy & 2 Days until ABVD
So this past Friday I had my bone marrow biopsy done. I only had the biopsy done not the asperit (sp?). I really need to thank my ONC for that. 
I think I did much better with this one than the one I had 2003. I only let about a couple “SHIT”’s and one “SON OF A BITCH” out during the procedure.
Carrie said I was pretty much a bad ass lying on that table. I told her she had the worst of it. She had to sit there and watch the whole thing!
We had a pretty busy weekend. Friday I raced R/C Cars (Thanks Mark!), Saturday my parents took us out to Sticky Lips BBQ, and Sunday we had a bunch of friends come over (Pete, Brenda, Chris & Edna) to celebrate Brenda’s birthday. It was a great time … Xbox, Steak, Crab Legs, and Cheesey Potatoes!!
Last night was great .. and I really need to thank Brenda for sharing her birthday with me. It was really nice because at least for a few hours I forget about being sick and starting treatment soon. So thank you very much. You have no idea how much that helped us with the upcoming ordeal.
Also, a couple of Carrie’s friends (Jay & Barb) stopped by as well to drop off some food. Barb had been through chemo as well. It was nice to talk with them because even though our chemos were different we had been through some of the same stuff. Plus, Barb just has an amazing attitude and you just can’t help but feel good around that energy. So I just wanted to thank Jay & Barb for stopping over. It meant alot to Carrie and myself. You helped more than you can know.
On Wednesday I start my first test treatment of ABVD. I just wish it would hurry up and get here. I pretty much know what to expect, but my imagination is still running wild with scenarios.
I will definitely try to post on Wed and let everyone know how it went.
