Coming home today - Yeah!
So I made it through day #3 of my ICE treatment I did happen to vomit early yesterday morning :puke: , but that was because I postponed my Ativan injection. When will I learn?
All the nurses were great here. They made the stay not so bad. I have to say the one thing that made it all easy was the fact that my wife (Carrie) stayed at the hospital with me Saturday & Sunday night.
That really put me at ease. I figured if she was there nothing could happen to me.
Also, my nieces (Connor & Mackenzie) visited. I just can’t explain it, but those two just make me so happy whenever I see them. I just hope they realize how much I really love them. It was a nice surprise. Connor made me a clay car and drew some pictures on the white board for me. Mackenzie made a picture frame for me. I cannot wait to get a photo for that and put it in my office.
Yesterday was also my 36th birthday. This is the 2nd time I have had chemo on my birthday. Carrie found me an awesome Lance Armstrong poster that I will be hanging in my office once I home.
I had a few visitors yesterday as well .. it really made the day go fast - My Parents, John & Marie Frontuto, Carrie’s Parents, Connor & Mackenzie, and Mike & Tracy Green.
I just wanted to thank all of you … it really meant alot.
