Counts have dropped …
First of all let me apologize for not updating this since I have been home. I have just not had the energy to do so.
So what has happened since I came home?
Well, the day after I was discharged from the hospital I had an appointment to get a Neulasta shot. We went in around 3:30pm for my 4:00pm appointment.
I was little concerned about my Port Line. It did not look so good so I asked the nurse to take a look at it. Well after looking at it she was concerned as well and said she needed to call my Oncologist. Dr. Freidberg decided to play it safe and give me some antibiotics and draw some blood for some tests. I was like ok, no sweat, just give me the shot and we’ll be on our way. The nurse looks at me and says .. I am really sorry Shannon, but this is a 1.5 to 2 hour infusion … :(:
Needless to say I was pretty upset. I just did not want to be in the hospital anymore. I had had enough already, but I sucked it up and got the antibiotics pumped in to me. It would suck if a freaking infection at my Port site killed me …
Well, my body did not care for the antibiotics too much .. my face, arms and chest turned really red. So they had to shoot me up with some Benedryl (sp?) .. and that did not sit to well with me .. maybe cause she shot it in so fast I don’t know, but I certainly do not care to feel all loopy like that.
It turned out I did not have an infection! Yea! 
I was pretty sore and tired up until Friday (11/12) .. I don’t remember much from my hospital stay. My wife is filling me in on things I said and done while I was in there. At least I did not make an ASS of myself. That would have sucked. I took a couple walks I do not remember and had some conversations with some visitors that I don’t remember, but other than that it was all good. 
I was informed on Tuesday though that my counts had dropped pretty low. Well lower than they had ever been when I was on CHOP/R. So I am on quarantine this week and have to be really careful about not getting a cold or something. I am getting cabin fever though .. we’ll know Friday if they have started to come back up.
It looks like I will be going back in for the next ICE treatment on 11/27 or 11/28. I might spend an extra day in there this time because I think they will be collecting my Stem Cells while I am in there this time.
Well that is it for now … there is a chance that I will bring my web cam into my next hospital stay so people can see my room.
