December 29th - Day -2
My last day of CHEMO! I get the nasty Melphalan today. Well hopefully it won’t be nasty.
I have taken two walks today since 7am. The 1st was to walk Carrie out and then after she was gone I did the walk again, but took the stairs back up to the 8th floor! It felt really good. My legs are a little sore, but it is a good sore.
I also see they have a stationary bike outside my room. I may try that in a day or so as well.
So my parents visited yesterday and they brought me up a couple of movies:
The Butterfly Effect and The Commitments.
My dad also bought me a book on The Tour De France:

Inside he wrote the following:

“You may not ever ride in France, but you will ride in Texas! - Love Dad”
I will be joining the Peloton Project today and starting my campaign to raise money for the 2005 Ride for the Roses event in Austin, Texas this year.
I almost forgot! Mr. & Mrs Claus sent me their wishes this week too!

I guess I wasn’t on the NAUGHTY list after all!
Carrie went out to Arby’s to get me a Roast Beef sandwich for dinner. Man are they good. I walked her down to the lobby and took the stairs back up. I am on a roll!
Of course I am also very tired now.
Carrie thought we should have a photo of me NOT in bed!

And a nice ending to a great day … Rick stopped in for a visit. Thanks Man!
