Tomorrow is the day!

So tomorrow I find out if I will undergo Radiation Therapy. I also find out how well the Stem Cell Transplant worked. Needless to say I am a little nervous.

I had my catheter removed on Friday. It was a pretty uneventful procedure. It was over before I knew it. I told them that I wanted to keep the catheter. So it is in my house somewhere sealed in a plastic bag. I have not had the stomach to look at it yet.

My appetite seems to be getting better, but I have lost a pound a day since I was released from the hospital on Tuesday. I am down to 179lbs. Which is ok. I had kind of a gut and needed to lose it. smile Hopefully when my appetite is back full swing I will eat a little healthier. Plus my workouts should help me stay lean and mean. smile

I have had no desire for fast food since I have been out. I think it will be a LONG while before I eat McDonald’s, Arby’s, Wendy’s, or Burger King. Eating that stuff while I was on chemo has kind of turned me off to it. Not that that is bad thing. smile

I have ridden a little since the 13th. Nothing to write about though. I tire after about 5-10 minutes. I will keep it up though.

I have already looked in to booking my flight and hotel room for the 2005 Ride for the Roses. It’s not as expensive as I thought it would be. We’re waiting to see if I am finished with treatment yet though. So maybe in a couple of weeks I will book everything.

My Fundraising Campaign is off to an ok start. So far I have raised $180.00.

My donation goal: $15,000

I would like to SINCERELY thank the following people for donating to my Peleton Project:

Total Donations: $180.00

  • Josh Emilson
  • Chris Masseth
  • Jeff Dickinson
  • The Ballaron Family

I have a long way to go, but I am confident I will meet my goal. I have faith in people. I have only been able to email people so once I am able to leave the house I think I will do much better.

Well I will definately post my results when I get home tomorrow. Have a nice day! smile
