Day +56 - Only 5 treatments left!

So today is day +56 since my Stem Cell Transplant and I must say I feel really good. I still get tired, but I think that is to be expected. I mean it has only been 2 months and I have had 12 radiation treatments so far.
Speaking of which I only have [b]FIVE[/b] more! [...]

Well I had treatment #6 this morning. Still no side effects. I am tired alot, but I think this comes from pushing myself too hard during the day still.

So I have two treatments done and only 15 more to go. I know it will get a little more difficult as the treatment progresses, but I just keep telling myself, “You’ve been through worse …”.

First Treatment Today (2/10/05)

So I slept pretty well last night. I was worried that I would not get any sleep. I was pretty nervous driving all the way in to the Cancer Center.
When we arrived I just seemed ready to get it over. No anxiety .. no queasiness. The technicians were very nice. We arrived at around 8:15am [...]

My “DRY” Run …

So it was pretty uneventful today. Everything still lines up and the machine is not as intimidating as I thought it would be.
I will be starting my treatments tomorrow morning at 8:30 am (2/10/05). I will get 17 treatments so I will be done on March 4, 2005!

Anxiety and a certain heaviness ..

Today I just feel heavy. Like I weigh a 100 more pounds that I usually do. I figure it is just the anxiety I am feeling about tomorrow’s “DRY” run. I can’t wait to see the machine they’re gonna zap me with. I keep picturing Marvin the Martian’s Explosive Space Modulator Cannon.
