3 to go …

By Shannon | March 1, 2005

On my way to my treatment this morning I stopped off at the WBER 90.5 radio station here in Penfield. I dropped off a couple Public Service Announcements from the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It was awfully nice of them to agree to play them. I have been a big fan WBER for a long time. :)

So I must say this last week is starting to wear on me. Only 3 treatments left though!

I have been having problems with nausea the last two mornings. Both days were pretty bad. I did not actually get sick just went through the motions. I have to say I think that is worse. :(

The good news is that they are starting to reduce my treatment fields so hopefully the aches & pains won’t get much worse this week.

I am both excited and nervous for this treatment to be over. Nervous because we go back to the waiting game again. Did it work? Is it gone? It just seems like I was in remission SO LONG ago and actually it was only 4 months ago. It’s funny how time gets kind of warped when you are dealing with all of this stuff. It’s hard not to think too far ahead.

I just try to focus on my RIDE and spreading the word for the LAF. It will be nice when I am not so tired all of time and can go out and actively educate people about the LAF.
