Williamson Apple Blossom Festival and more …
So, I have not updated the journal in awhile. I needed a break is all. All the aches and pain I was experiencing a few weeks ago have finally gone away. I had stayed home from work one day when they were at their absolute worst. I ended up sleeping for 15+ hours that day. When I woke up I felt as if the those last few weeks never happened. I still tire easily, but at least all the sore joints, muscle aches, and phantom pains have subsided.
We set up a booth for the Lance Armstrong Foundation this past weekend at the Williamson Apple Blossom Festival. We had a lot of fun. We held a 50/50 raffle and we also raffled off a very nice Melita 1:1 Pod Coffee maker.
I’d like to thank everyone that helped us with the booth:
Cindy, Lorie, Pete, Brenda, Chris, Edna, Mike, & Chris.
I would especially like to thank my wife Carrie. She did an amazing job on all the signs and she made this wonderful collage of photos. The photos were of things I have done over the last two years of being sick.
I took some photos with the digital camera. As soon as I can get those off of there I will add them to this journal entry.
I am feeling stronger everyday and worrying less and less about the cancer. We have a follow up visit with my Oncologist on Tuesday (5/24). So hopefully he will schedule my CT & Pet Scans. I am still anxious to know what is going on inside my body.
I will start my training for the Ride for the Roses soon. I am doing a 40 mile ride for Diabetes at Mendon Ponds Park on June 12th. I am also doing 50 miles for the RV&E Ride for Your Life event in Fairport holds every year.
