Only Six Weeks Left ….
I only have six weeks of fund raising left for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
I have currently raised $5,520.00 and I am $9,480.00 short of my $15,000.00 goal.

I have been battling Non-Hodgkin’s and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since June 2003. Two of my friends, Al Koza and Brian Furness, lost their long and courageous battle with cancer in 2004. In memory of Al and Brian, I am going to complete the 100-mile Ride for the Roses on Oct 21-23, 2005 in Austin, Texas. Having just had a Stem Cell Transplant in January 2005 and 17 Radiation Treatments in February 2005 my training for this event will be long and hard. I’d like to ask you to join me in this effort by making a donation to the Lance Armstrong foundation in Al’s memory, in Brian’s memory, or in tribute to a cancer survivor close to you.
The Ride for the Roses is a bike ride organized by Lance Armstrong, cancer survivor and six-time winner of the Tour de France. It’s held each year in Austin, TX and attracts more than 6,500 entrants, from Lance Armstrong and Robin Williams to, well, me! My goal is to complete the 100 mile course. This will be the longest ride I have ever attempted.
