Race 2 Replace
I am not sure if you have seen the commercials, but The Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team has a new contest called Race 2 Replace. The purpose of this contest is to find a replacement rider for Lance Armstrong. The contest seems to be open to anyone.
During the Race to Replace, cyclists of all levels and ages can test their mettle on the international speedway and have an opportunity to bike with Armstrong, as well as participate in a full day of activities, including family-friendly events, live music and much more. The winner of the race will have the honor of donning the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team jersey and race as a member of the Team in the U.S. Pro Championship in September in Greenville, South Carolina.

Will I be entering this race? If it turns out we can afford to go that weekend then most definitely yes. Will I make the team? Probably not, but what is the worst they can say? Why would I go all the way to Indianapolis just to be told no? Because I CAN.
