Interlakes Foundation Wellness Rides

By Shannon | May 8, 2006

Today is the start of the Interlakes Foundation Wellness Program outdoor bike rides. I am hoping to be able to make it out tonight. Information from their website …

“The 3rd season of the Interlakes Foundation Wellness Program outdoor bike rides are scheduled to begin on Monday, May 8th and will gather at the Mendon Ponds Beach Area Parking Lot promptly at 6pm.

You and a guest (or child over 10 years of age accompanied by an adult with a release signed by parent or guardian) are welcome to join the ride. Helmets are required for all riders. Refreshments will be provided before and after each ride. Heart rate monitors are available for your use.

Please be assured that we will accommodate ALL levels of biking expertise, from beginners to more advanced. Length of rides will vary according to group preference and ability.

The J.W. Dundee Cycling Team will once again chaperone the rides and will accompany all groups. Riders from the team will carry roadside repair items, cell phones, AED equipment and other necessary items so that members can ride worry free while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow survivors.

If you are not sure if the ride is still on due to weather conditions, please check our website, after 4pm that Monday for updates or call 585.350.2301 for a recorded message.

Rides will not take place over holiday weekends.

We encourage you to come ride with us, make new friends and have a great time.”

More information can be found on their WEBSITE.
